When inspecting the interior of a stainless steel outdoor electrical box distribution box, pay attention to the copper or tin-plated terminals on the base plate or side walls. These locations are usually marked with grounding symbols for easy cable crimping.
Bridging Wiring Between Box Door and Box Body

Flexible Connection: Braided copper tape should be used between the door panel and the box body.

Anti-Loosening Washers: Using serrated washers can pierce any existing oxide layer, maintaining circuit continuity.

Installation personnel at construction sites often report that if the grounding terminals are designed too narrowly, it is difficult to bend and connect large-section wires. We widened the operating space in the design of the stainless steel electrical junction boxes, making the terminal block positions more convenient.
Corrosion Protection in Humid Environments
Even with 304 or 316 stainless steel, a small amount of conductive grease should be applied to the connections. This not only slows down electrochemical corrosion at the joints but also maintains extremely low contact resistance over long-term operation.
Inspection checklist for on-site acceptance of stainless steel distribution box
After completing the wiring, use a multimeter to measure the resistance from any point on the steel electrical enclosure box to the main grounding electrode. If the value is high, it is usually because the coating at the connection was not cleaned properly or the bolts were not tightened.
