Collaboration Mechanism Of Internal Components In Stainless Steel Distribution Boxes

Date: Read: 19

In the power distribution system, stainless steel outlet box is responsible for the integrated installation of multiple electrical components. The internal space of stainless steel push button enclosure needs to be rationally arranged with core components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and terminal blocks, and the components are connected by wires and busbars to form a complete electrical circuit.

Connection relationship between main circuit and control circuit

The main circuit of steel electrical cabinet includes incoming circuit breaker, outgoing circuit breaker and current transformer. The incoming terminals connect to the upstream power supply, and the current is distributed to each branch circuit after passing through the main circuit breaker. The busbars are made of copper, with a cross-sectional area selected based on the load current; common sizes include 40×4mm and 60×6mm. The busbars are fixed to insulating supports, and the phase-to-phase distance meets electrical safety requirements.

The control circuit is independently arranged on the side or below the stainless steel weatherproof box area, and includes components such as buttons, indicator lights, and intermediate relays. The control voltage is typically AC220V or DC24V, drawn from the main circuit via a control transformer or switching power supply. After receiving a control signal, the contactor coil drives the main contacts to close, achieving on/off control of the motor or load. A thermal relay is connected in series in the main circuit to monitor the load current and trigger protection action in case of overload.

Functional coordination of auxiliary components

The voltmeter and ammeter installed inside the ss enclosure box display operating parameters in real time, and the instruments acquire signals through voltage transformers and current transformers. Terminal blocks bring external cables into the enclosure, divided into three categories: power terminals, load terminals, and grounding terminals. The grounding copper busbar connects the metal casing of the enclosure to all components requiring protective grounding; the grounding resistance must be less than 4 ohms. The DIN rail mounting method allows for quick installation and removal of circuit breakers and relays, eliminating the need to remove numerous cables during maintenance.
